Expert Service

  • The provision of condition surveys of vessels and barges on behalf of the P&I Clubs, vessel owners and charterers. The survey is intended to provide a snapshot of the vessel’s condition, equipment operability and status of certification at the time of the survey. 
     

  • We provide marine and engineering expert advice during disputes and marine claims to admiralty lawyers, P&I Clubs, national governments, port authorities and underwriters. Our trained expert witnesses have provided written and oral evidence in court/arbitration proceedings and public inquiries.
     

  • Our team of marine experts can provide expert advice on issues relating to seaworthiness, unsafe ports, collision, grounding, charter party disputes, navigation, personal injury, hull & machinery damage, bunker disputes, vessel repair and new buildings.
     

  • Our marine surveyors, engineers and technical teams can competently carry out marine casualty investigation, including voyage data recorder (VDR) analysis, AIS analysis, fixed and floating object damage assessments, cargo damage and hull & machinery issues.
